The market town of Louth, 'Capital of the Wolds', is an easy 20 minute drive the Park.  This is a bustling typical northern market town with markets held on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday each week.  Of particular interest is the morning auction held in the middle of the Market on Wednesdays.  There is also a livestock market on Thursdays.

For a day out, why not visit the capital of our county, the city of Lincoln, which is a 50 minute drive from the Park.  There you will find the historic Lincoln Cathedral which was founded by William the Conqueror and still boasts a fine Norman arch as its main entrance.  Close by is the Castle, currently the home of the County Courts but also open to visitors.  the views from the ramparts are quite exceptional.

Take a trip to Mablethorpe about 20 minutes drive away or Cleethorpes which is only 25 miles and sample a traditional English seaside town with amazing beaches and fun for all the family.
